Fresco was commissioned by the New South Wales Department of Planning and Environment to produce a large 168 page Outcome and Business Plan. We had access to the previous year’s InDesign file and were required to update and repopulate the document in line with a new set of brand guidelines.
The revised NSW Government Masterbrand guidelines were 144 pages long and outlined the aesthetic direction for all aspects of this publication including accessibility requirements, bullets and numbering, typography, colour palette, infographics and page layouts. We restyled and refreshed intricate icons, graphs, tables and infographics as well as hyperlinking the entire document to simplify usability and referencing. At the end of the project we delivered accessible PDFs to meet AAA standards for accessibility.
We later created pullup banners for the New South Wales Department of Planning and Environment promoting Heritage NSW.
“We just want to say a massive thank you for all your efforts to transform our vision into a beautiful whole-of-government strategic document. We couldn’t have done it without you.” – Jessica, Principal Project Officer, Precincts Coordination, Department of Planning and Environment
