Fresco has assisted UNSW with a wide variety of design projects for multiple departments such as UNSW Institute of Languages, UNSW Science/UNSW Aviation, UNSW Media and Communications and UNSW External Services. We have designed and produced publications, student yearbooks, Open Day graphic panels, Uniken magazine and special event collateral for occasions such as the retirement of Vice-Chancellor Fred Hilmer. They challenge us to creatively push brand guidelines to produce design that is engaging, impressive and on-brand.
We designed the 24 page Postgraduate Guide for UNSW Aviation. Designed to target pilots, customer service staff, managers in airlines or airports, flight attendants, safety officers or engineers; this publication needed to educate and inspire. Fresco worked alongside evolving UNSW guidelines and brand strategy during a branding transition phase and kept the publication on track and on brand.
Fresco also produced several 2-part Annual Reports for UNSW sometimes during a phase of restructuring where the whole department were new to the job. We brought experience and stability, having worked on the report before, and guided the project team with confidence, organisation, innovative and on-brand design concepts and realistic milestones for delivery. We used our organisational, design and leadership skills to produce a cutting edge 152pp report, on time and on budget.
“The team at Fresco were super responsive and realistic when we needed a redesign. They listened to our brief and delivered. Andrea has been a delight to work with; professional, friendly, creative and a great collaborator on ideas.
“Louise and Andrea were a pleasure to work with on UNSW’s annual report. As a new communications team, we relied on their experience and knowledge with producing publications and working with our stakeholders. We worked well as a team, often in stressful circumstances with competing, short deadlines. Andrea in particular was diligent, professional and hard-working and we really appreciated all the effort she put into making the team’s first report a success.” – Louise, External Communications Manager
