The National Mental Health Consumer Alliance is the national peak body led by and for people with lived experience of mental health systems. Their mission is to ensure that consumer voices, rights and expertise are central to decisions shaping mental health policy, reform and research across Australia.
Fresco Creative partnered with the Alliance to design a 20-page Strategic Report that articulates their vision, values and strategic priorities in a clear and accessible way. The design approach was grounded in inclusivity and lived experience, using strong typographic hierarchy, accessible layouts and illustration-led visuals to support a people-led, strengths-based narrative. Careful consideration was given to accessibility, tone and visual clarity to ensure the report could engage a broad and diverse audience.
The final report balances advocacy with structure, providing a cohesive document that supports stakeholder engagement while reinforcing the Alliance’s role as a leading, consumer-driven voice within the mental health sector.
